Abstract

SUMMARY
1 Title : The effect of in situ organic matter and intensifiation
Paddy culture technique on the land effected the cement
mine contaminant
2. Implementing Unit : LAND RESOURCES AND ENVIRONTMENT
3. Location : Padang (West Sumatera)
4. Objective
a. Immediate objective : To study the length of incubation period by applying
organic carbon in situ to reclamate the reduction soil effected of the cement
mine contaminant.
b. Long term objective : to get the specific of carbon organic in situ to
save the fertilizer input by choosing the variety paddy tolerance to
reclamate the soil contaminated by cement mine attached
by water management and period of C- organik incubation
and paddy culture technique to increase the rice yield in
West Sumatera
5. Description of Project : the study held two years where the first year to get
information about duration of the incubation period by the application of
C-organic in situ to alleviate effect of cement mine contaminant . The
estimated total hectarage of wet land soil that contaminated by cement
mine in West Sumatera more than 1000 ha that potential for
productivity of rice in Padang. The rice cultivation are traditional
cultivated, SRI (system of the Rice intensification) and Team
modification.
6. Methodology : The first year is going to study effect lenght of
incubation period organic carbon in situ. The study held in a factorial
design in two treatments namely the first factor is the kind of C-organic
in situ and the second factor is duration of C-organic incubation.
Dosages of C-organic in situ are to be the block. The second year is
going to study water management in an incubation of carbon organic in
situ to save fertilizer input and paddy culture technique increase the rice
in West Sumatera. The experiment held in factorial design, the first
factor is water management during C-organic in situ incubation, the
second factor is fertilizer application efficiently and to be block is paddy culture technique. 7. Expected output of the year : to be an increase of the rice yield in west Sumatera especially at the submerge soil contaminant of cement mine 8. Duration : The study held in two years 9. Proposed Budget : Rp 105.000.000,- (one hundred and five million rupiahs)
